Micro-credential AI in Education - Winter 2026

Skills21 at EdAdvance, in partnership with Southern Connecticut State University’s Office of Workforce and Lifelong Learning, is offering a micro-credential: AI in Education. This six-week course will run from January 19th to March 30th, and is designed to be self-paced, with a focus on practical, hands-on activities. It will cover five key modules: Foundations | Prompting Pros | Shifting Assessments | Future Focus | Presentation.

Each module includes video instruction and activities that will guide you in practicing the use of generative AI in a variety of educational contexts. To further support your learning, we are offering four optional synchronous Zoom meetings from 6:00-7:00 PM on the following dates: January 22nd, January 29th, February 5th, and February 19th.

Participants who complete the training will earn a digital badge issued by Southern Connecticut State University through Credly.
