What content knowledge will students learn in the program?
- Basics and application of game design
- Creating original computer games
- Programming - Sequence, iteration (looping), conditional statements, variables, lists (arrays), event handling, threads (parallel execution)coordination and synchronization, random numbers, Boolean logic, dynamic interaction, and user interface design via software created by MIT known as “Scratch”

What if any prior knowledge is required? What is recommended?
- No prior knowledge is required for this introduction to computer programming
- Basic computer and Internet literacy is helpful
