Overview

The Connecticut Academy for Science and Research (CTASR) is a progressive program designed to encourage and support student interest and achievement in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) with a particular focus on participation in the Connecticut Science Fair at Qunnipiac University in March. Throughout the year, students visit various academic and industry research facilities in Connecticut, acquiring necessary skills and developing awareness of research initiatives throughout the State. Students are encouraged to develop collaborative mentoring relationships with professionals in their field of interest, assuring a broad individual learning network. Access to the secure Moodle website facilitates research projects with access to a variety of online resources and collaboration with team partners, community mentors, and teachers.
