Blended Learning
Blended learning utilizes a teacher facilitated, student-centered environment that includes online and experiential components to strengthen classroom learning.
Face-to-face
Our courses are taught in a classroom setting by experienced teachers who have gone through extensive training by our staff.
Online
Our curriculum can be accessed through Moodle, our password-protected course management system. Teachers and students also use IVCS2, a 3D virtual world, to collaborate in real time from remote locations.
To view a sample Moodle course, visit our Moodle site and click on Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences ’12-13 (under Course Categories, on the right side of the page), and then select the course C21 Sample Guest Course 2012-13. At the bottom of the page, click “Log in as a Guest”.
This sample course includes sample units from our E-Commerce Entrepreneurship, Digital Media and Movie Making, RD2 Mobile App Design, Bio21, Algebra21, and Foundations of Health Science and Technology courses.
Experiential
Experiential events bring teachers and students outside the classroom into business and college campuses to apply contemporary issues to current course work.
